St Ives Holiday Village Reviews

Second time we've been, lovely and tranquil on this site. Silver chalet was cosy and comfortable with all electric heating and oven, All you need on holiday was supplied, even a blender, hoover, ironing board, etc. My sister in law came this time she really enjoyed it with the wildlife around even coming to the door squirrels, Robins, wrens, magpies, and tree creepers to name a few, close to St Ives, Penzance, Hayle and not far from lands end, bar is ok entertainment reasonable, with restaurant and take away over all nice site with woodland walks, and the children would love to run around the trees playing games. Recommended.

We are regular visitors to Cornwall and have passed this park before.
This was our 1st visit and we will book again for next year as we loved it so much. The staff - Kevin, Sanjay, Lewis, Sophie, Ryan to name but a few are friendly and helpful. The setting a wonderful woodland. A clean and comfortable place to stay in - what more could you ask for? We have had a wonderful relaxing week away.

Stayed for full week in western Cornwall. Staying in Lelant put us within easy reach of everything beautiful and Cornish about Cornwall. Being National Trust members gives us free parking almost anywhere we go. Free entry to St. Michael’s mount, the Lizzard, Godrevy and Chapel Porth some of the finest. Almost forgot the breathtaking Kynance cove. Everywhere you go you walk over the next hill to yet another breathtaking bay or remnants of the tin mining history. The north coast gives you an endless choice of stunning sights from the Seal colony of Godrevy to the awe-inspiring Tintagel Castle. Our single out and out favourite destination is the beautiful village and harbour of Boscastle. The work done to restore this place is incredible, the people wonderful and the carrot cake in NT visitors centre lovely. If you have yet to visit Cornwall please go west, there really is something for everyone to see. My advice, just go kick back and have the most relaxed and inspiring break ever.

We have stayed here twice a year for around 10 years now. Always had a good value, quiet, pleasant stay. There's plenty of on-site entertainment although we don't use it personally, a restaurant and take away available. It's good value for money and would recommend to anyone who wants a quiet woodland setting with wild animals around and decent accommodation.

May 2016

We stayed here the first week of May. The chalets are old but solid and as they look indestructible. We were worried after reading previous reviews but we had no need to be. The site is just beautiful - you are staying in a forest - nature is all around you as well as 6 million rabbits - it's so peaceful I slept like a baby. It's minutes from st Ives where the restaurants are lovely and the views are breathtaking. We didn't use any on site facilities so can't comment but when we did talk to staff they were pleasant and chatty. We will return as we thought our chalet was cute and cosy. . If you expect the Hilton you will be gutted - go with an open mind and enjoy your surroundings and you will love it there.

April 2016

I stayed with my daughterl, & when she booked Budget accommodation I thought it would be awful. But it was fantastic, it had obviously been recently refurbished, immaculately clean, fully equipped kitchen, everything we needed. We made the short drive into St Ives and had a fantastic day in the sunshine. A beautiful setting, friendly staff, great holiday. A real surprise.
